new bugs & security vulnerabilities being introduced in later updates for Windows 10: mainly because of lack of a bug testing team, in favor if the Windows Insider Program. lack of openness & quality assurance: mainly in regards of it's outdated technology that haven't been updated for years & the fact that third-party games & software continue to utilize the outdated software. Reasons for pointing this out to any Microsoft employee reading this includes but not limited to: I'm also wondering if Microsoft even has plans to open-source Windows Media Player and any of it's APIs instead of continuing to be updated with very buggy codebase. I'm asking if Windows 11 is still going to include that over-rereleased buggy Windows Media Player 12 or if Windows 11 will just flat out remove it.

New bugs & security vulnerabilities kept being introduced with later releases of Windows 10 after it's initial release in 2015, and continues to be this way ever since. Windows Media Player 12 has been considered IMHO a very controversial version of the program, being over-rereleased with every single new release of Microsoft Windows with very little quality control.
